Understanding how to trade with TrenchBot.
Trading with TrenchBot can only be actioned within Discord. This can happen either in DMs with TrenchBot or in a server that has TrenchBot integrated.
At launch, the available networks will be Solana and Ronin, however more chains with consistent trading volume will be added.
To purchase a token a user simply needs to post a Ticker or a Contract Address.
TrenchBot will reply with comprehensive information about the token enabling the user to make an informed decision. Just beneath the presented analysis, purchase buttons will be visible. These will include the three preset options the user can configure via settings, along with a custom options to buy a unique/custom amount. Once a buy option has been selected, the user will see the transaction pending and then confirm, along with a transaction link where they can view the transaction on the networks native explorer.
Users are able to buy directly from Tickers and Contract Addresses they post, along with directly from Tickers and Contract Addresses others post. All transactions and wallet balances are private and not visible to other users.
If there are multiple variations of a token with the same Ticker, TrenchBot will default to posting the Ticker with the highest trade volume. To ensure you are purchasing the correct token, we recommend checking the Contract Address or using the Contract Address to locate the token.
To sell a token a user can: Navigate to their positions menu via the /positions command, select the token from the drop down menu and then choose whether to sell from one of their preset options, a custom amount, or sell their initial investment.
Users can also use the sell button beneath a Ticker or Contract Address if they hold the token. Once a Ticker or Contract Address is posted, along with the buy buttons, sell buttons also appear but will only work if the user holds the token.
Sell Initials: This is a unique option to selling. This function is only available to use after purchasing a token, and that token being in a profitable position. Once used, TrenchBot will sell your initial investment amount, keeping any balance above this amount open.
For example: User buys 1 SOL of a token. The current value is 1.5 SOL. Selling initials will return the user 1 SOL, leaving 0.5 of the token available within their open position. When you exit a trade, TrenchBot will automatically generate a PnL (profit and loss) image for you showing you how the trade performed. This can shared with your friends or on social media.
TrenchBot trading fees are an industry standard 1%.
These fees are applicable to both buys and sells using TrenchBot. There are no fees for using any other features.
